Home favourite Ashun Wu will be looking to cement his place as China’s most successful European Tour player when he makes his debut at the Shenzhen International this week.

The 31 year old burst onto the scene in 2015 with his victory at the Volvo China Open and became the first Chinese player to win multiple European Tour events when he claimed the Lyoness Open powered by Sporthilfe Cashback Card last season.

Li Haotong won the Volvo China Open in 2016 and when he and Wu finished in a tie for second at the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf, it was made abundantly clear that China was on the way up.
